Iman Fandi signs with Universal Music Singapore, to release ‘Timeframe’ single on 19 February

Iman Fandi may be known for her fashion flair and TikTok dancing skills, but she’s now adding original songs under her belt. Universal Music Singapore has signed on Iman Fandi, the only daughter of Fandi Ahmad, Singapore’s beloved sports icon, to their label.
As Fandi takes her place in the UMG roster that boasts the likes of Yung Raja, Fariz Jabba and ALYPH, she is poised to be the next female pop star in a new generation of young Singaporean talents.
In the public eye since she was a child, the 20-year-old has accumulated various accolades as an athlete, model and influencer. Naming The Weekend, Rihanna and Beyoncé as her musical influences, she’s ready to take on a new challenge as a singer-songwriter.
“The main reason I write and release music is so that people will know they’re not alone in feeling a certain way”, says Fandi as she outlines her mission as an artist. This empathy comes from a place of empowerment and determination: “I want to be better. I also want to branch out and explore territories outside of Asia. I love experimenting and trying new things and I feel that being signed to the biggest label in the world will push me to do my very best – and more.”
On 19 February 2021, her debut single “Timeframe” written by her, produced by Singaporean hip-hop luminary Flightsch and mixed by 13-time Grammy-winning engineer John Hanes, who has lent his expert touch to numerous records by pop’s A-list such as, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey, will make her aims and intentions clear.
Simon Jerome Nasser, Managing Director of Universal Music Singapore, celebrates his joyous reception of Iman Fandi’s signing: “Once in a while, a star comes along whose qualities cannot be compressed into a few words. Iman Fandi is that star”, adding that, “she is literally born to be the voice of her generation”. “Timeframe” will be followed by what he assures will be a “stellar EP” and a slew of live dates will bolster the label’s commitment “to elevate her career to greater heights”.
“Timeframe” is now available for pre-add/save on all digital streaming platforms.
The New York Times’ documentary Framing Britney Spears introduced viewers to Felicia Culotta, a woman who served as Britney Spears’ assistant and has known her for decades. She played a pivotal role in the early days of the “Womanizer” singer’s career — and now, she has chosen to speak out about the pop star’s conservatorship battle. “I don’t know that I ever really had any definition on what I was supposed to do with Britney. For a long time, they called me her chaperone and then at one point they wanted to call me her partner and we didn’t think that sounded right,” she said of her role in Spears’ life in the documentary. “I definitely wasn’t her mother or her big sister, so we settled on assistant.” Culotta revealed in the special, which is streaming on FX and Hulu, why she was interested in participating in the documentary. “I will say the one reason I agreed to do the interview is so we can remind people of why they fell in love with her in the first place,” she said. Spears was placed under a conservatorship in 2008 following her public breakdown and split from husband of two years Kevin Federline, with whom she shares sons Sean Preston and Jayden. Her father, Jamie Spears, served as co-conservator but was given full control over the “Gimmie More” singer’s person and estate when Andrew Wallet resigned in March 2019. Jamie stepped down from his duties later that year and was temporarily replaced by licensed fiduciary Jodi Montgomery. In November 2020, Britney lost her bid to have her father removed from her conservatorship and earlier this year, her lawyer argued that it would be “detrimental to Britney’s interest” to give Jamie any more control over her estate. The Framing Britney Spears’ exploration of her career, personal life and conservatorship battle has led stars including Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton to show support for the #FreeBritney movement. Culotta revealed in the documentary that her role on Britney’s team changed drastically after the conservatorship was put into place. “When I went back, it was a different business management and her dad was involved,” she explained. “They did not hire me, the Scroll down to learn about Britney’s former assistant and longtime family friend.

Here are 20 of the worst plot holes in TV history. Warning: the following may contain spoilers.
Talk about an up and down relationship. Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron first met on season 15 of The Bachelorette. While he didn’t win the season — she was briefly engaged to Jed Wyatt after the finale — the pair have stayed in touch since their TV breakup. From the start, Hannah and Tyler had such a strong physical connection — so much so that it worried her. “I feel like our relationship has been so fun, so easy getting to know each other,” the former pageant queen told Tyler during the fantasy suite episode. “But there’s a concern for me about our physical relationship. It is a huge part of our relationship. I just am so captivated about being around you, and you holding me and kissing me. I just want that. Like, I do. And so I have to kind of reset myself sometimes and think, OK, that’s great. You know that that’s there. But it has to be more.” On their final one-on-one date ahead of the last rose ceremony, Hannah admitted how strong she felt. “I am so lucky. I feel so lucky. When I think about a life with Tyler, it’s almost like he is that perfect guy. The one that you want to introduce to everybody that you know … I know he would protect me, keep me safe and we would have the sweetest family, cutest little babies,” she shared on the show. “Tyler makes me feel so special and so loved, I don’t want him to let go of me. I could see being in his arms forever.” When it came time for the final rose ceremony, the Alabama native crushed the model’s heart. “I am so lucky to be loved by you,” she said. “I love someone else. I’m so sorry.” After the finale — and her split from Jed — aired, the pair made plans to meet, which Tyler assumed would happen. “I think that we just both needed to have that time to talk and, you know, just see each other and be there for each other,” he said on the “Viall Files” podcast in July. “I think we have a great relationship, you know, and friendship, and that’s something that doesn’t need to be cut off because that didn’t work out. I think that’s immature.” He also added that the pair had a very strong bond. “We went through a whole lot together. You know, that was a crazy journey to share and experience with somebody,” he told Nick Viall. “And I value and cherish our relationship and our friendship and that’s something I don’t wanna just cut off cold turkey because it didn’t work out. … [She’s] someone I would hope to have a drink with and see what happens and take it one step at a time.” Scroll through the gallery below for a timeline of the relationship.

A few years later, he sent another massive flower delivery to Kardashian with a giant flower wall made of orchids and roses in 2017. Kardashian told ABC News in February 2020 that she would be happy with a low-key family affair on Valentine’s Day but she never knows what her husband has up his sleeve. “I was literally about to volunteer at my daughter’s school,” the reality TV star said at the time. “She loves it when I’m like, you know, the class mom.
