Amanda Seyfried’s “toughest challenge” was getting through school.
The ‘Mamma Mia’ actress – who has three-year-old daughter Nina with husband Thomas Sadoski – was bullied by her classmates so found her teenage years difficult, but she was always aware the difficult times wouldn’t last forever.
She said: “The toughest challenge I’ve faced was school. It was tough and I was bullied, but it doesn’t last forever…
“I wish I could tell my 16-year-old self don’t listen to mean girls! They’re just there to make you feel bad and the truth is they feel bad about themselves too – that’s why they do it.”
Despite her years of career success, the 32-year-old star believes her family will always be her “greatest achievement” and she insisted they always come first.
She added: “My family will always be my greatest achievement. If you put your family first then I’ve always said you’re heading in the right direction.”
Amanda lives on a farm and though she’s devoted to all her animals, her beloved dog Finn will always hold a special place in her heart.
In a recent interview, she said: “People aside, my most treasured possession is my dog Finn. He was a rescue dog and, even though he will probably never totally understand, he changed my life in more ways than he’ll ever know. I’m so grateful to him.”
The ‘Mean Girls’ star is very “spiritual” and loves being outdoors and “at one” with nature.
She explained: “I’m a spiritual person and I practice mindfulness. I like yoga, I believe in alternative medicine and I enjoy being at one with nature.
“I feel so safe when I’m at home. We live in a quiet place where there’s nothing Hollywood about it.”

Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins’ love story is one for the books. The couple met as kindergartners, but it took them about 15 years to realize that they were life partners — and they haven’t turned back since. The country superstar and the Live in Love author started dating in 2011 after reconnecting at a party for her sister. They were engaged within six months and married the following October. “When I saw them stare at each other the entire 20 minutes they were saying their vows, it’s like these two people are meant to be together. They are beyond in love,” the groom’s father, Rhett Akins, told Country Weekly at the time. “Everybody there that had doubted or wondered if they were too young, all the doubts are gone now.” After honeymooning in Hawaii, Rhett and Akins tried to start a family. However, the pair struggled to conceive, so they began looking into other ways to have children. Akins visited Uganda in 2016 and quickly developed a bond with a baby girl named Willa Gray. She and Rhett returned to the African country a dozen times over the 12 months that followed before formally adopting the then-18-month-old. In the middle of the process, the Grammy nominee and his wife found out that she was pregnant. Their daughter Ada James was born in August 2017, only three months after Willa came home to the U.S. “There is nothing more fun than being around my children,” Rhett gushed to ABC News Radio in June 2019. “I can only imagine it gets more fun the more that you have.” And with that said, they became a family of five in February 2020 when Akins gave birth to another daughter, Lennon Love. Scroll down to see a timeline of Rhett and Akins’ relationship!
Michael J. Fox will bring Family Ties back to life for a charity fundraiser – more than 30 years after the beloved U.S. TV sitcom went off the air. Meredith Baxter, Michael Gross, Marc Price, Tina Yothers and Scott Valentine are among the other original cast members from the classic 1980s show, about kooky clan the Keatons, who have agreed to attend the upcoming Stars in the House livestream benefit reunion. “During this time of what seems like…
The traditional broadcast Fall TV season, which is anything but traditional due to the coronavirus, is well underway. Seeing as execs at Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC and The CW spent a good chunk of their summers working out the logistics of how to safely resume production on their new and returning scripted and unscripted primetime series amid the pandemic, Fall TV premiere dates weren’t announced as quickly as they usually are and many shows that would…
Imprisoned actress Lori Loughlin has been given hope of spending Christmas at home after she was given an official December release date. The disgraced Full House star checked into the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California on 30 October to begin her two-month sentence for her role in the U.S. college admissions scam. Federal Bureau of Prisons officials have confirmed she is set for release on 27 December, but because that date…
Crazy, but that’s how it goes! The Osbourne family paved the way for a new kind of reality television that focused on family dynamics and gave a glimpse inside the lifestyles of the rich and the famous. Ozzy Osbourne and his manager, Sharon Osbourne, tied the knot in July 1982 in Maui. Sharon gave birth to their eldest daughter, Aimee, in September 1983 followed by daughter Kelly in October 1984 and son Jack in November 1985. Ozzy is also the father of children Elliott, Louis and Jessica, with whom he shares with ex-wife Thelma Riley. The former Black Sabbath lead singer was known for his onstage antics, but his family also entered the public eye on the MTV reality series The Osbournes. The Emmy-winning show — which ran from 2002 to 2005 — followed Sharon and Ozzy as they attempted to parent their rebellious teens. Kelly told WTOP in 2017 that filming reality TV was drastically different in the early 2000s. “We were the first and only ones who did it the way we did it,” the Fashion Police alum said. “[Today], they’ll film a season in less than six weeks. It took us six months! If we did it the way that they do it now, we’d probably still be doing it. You have a lot more control. But we got to a point where we’re like, ‘Let’s end on a high, people know who we are now, it isn’t what we want to do forever, [so] it’s a nice time to stop.’” However, Aimee chose not to appear on the show with the rest of the Osbourne clan. In 2020, Sharon explained on The Talk that she didn’t blame her oldest daughter for avoiding the spotlight. The Celebrity Apprentice alum detailed the intensive filming process, which included about 30 crew members following them “24 hours a day.” “The house wasn’t a home anymore. It was a studio,” she said. “So, I get why she didn’t like it. But would I have done it differently? I didn’t know what I was doing then. So, you know, I wouldn’t have done anything differently because I had an unbelievable time doing it.” The Osbourne family briefly returned to TV with their short-lived variety series Osbournes Reloaded, but the show was canceled in 2009 after one season. Ozzy and Jack teamed up for the reality series Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour in 2016, but the show ended after three seasons. The “Crazy Train” singer and Jack reunited with Sharon and Kelly for their Travel Channel series, The Osbournes Want to Believe, in 2020. Although cameras stopped following the famous family in 2005, the drama continued. Us Weekly broke the news in 2016 that Ozzy was having an affair with celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh. Ozzy and The Talk cohost briefly separated after the incident but later reunited. In August 2020, Kelly revealed that she lost 85 pounds after she showed off her massive weight loss via Instagram. Days later, the TV personality announced she had received gastric sleeve surgery two years prior. “I don’t give a f–k what anyone has to say. I did it, I’m proud of it, they can suck s–t. I did the gastric sleeve. All it does is change the shape of your stomach,” she said during an interview on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast. “I got that almost two years ago. I will never, ever, ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.” Scroll down to see photos of the Osbournes over the years.

The 38-year-old actress and filmmaker, who helmed the reboot/sequel of the 1996 movie, revealed that she wanted her female protagonists to be as diverse as possible to reflect today’s society. “When I wrote the script, I wanted one of our coven members to be a trans woman, because I think any brand of feminism that excludes trans women’s voices is…
